One unfortunate news regarding the Steam release is that our marketing and community specialist Betka, is now longer working with us. At the moment we are looking for a replacement. However this probably means that we will have to do the Steam promotion for the game (namely contacting youtubers / bloggers / etc.) ourselves. In this regard we really count on the community to help us actively spread the word before the and during the Steam release.
You should do setting resolution in menu if you want sell greater amount our product, do not forget many people has weak laptop, and the game start up maximum resolution.
I have some experience in this topic, change resolution set in desktop settings It is very uncomfortable, I had to change a laptop, but for many people the game becomes unplayable by this,
and finish adventure with factory on demo
You can play the game in windowed mode instead of fullscreen. Then you can resize the window to any size you want, which also changes the resolution.
It may change the resolution, but it does not change the GUI size, nor add scrollbars or much in the way of compactness to the various information windows. This is actually my major complaint with the game, that I find it less-playable in any screen size (windows or fullscreen) that does not accommodate the full GUI. As GUI element fine positioning is being addressed now, it may be that further versions can attempt a GUI re-vector or other screen size adaptation; I would appreciate being able to resize in-game windows or otherwise keep certain displays out of my active zone (for example, the info-bar on the side expands to fit entity names and information, sometimes getting in the way of clicking on things, and I wouldn't mind putting the armor battery indicator in a different location or being able to choose whether the increased-size toolbar is double-tall or single-tall when I'm not mousing over it).
Planned projects: Energy Crystals Plus, Minor Fluid Handling, Small electric furnaces
(high-energy materials and assembler, fluid void burner and small tank, tiny and slow furnaces with charcoal)

Everyone knows that, but resolution change give greater efficiency than playing in a window mod, secondly many laptops It has a graphic adapters instead of graphics cards that they have a high resolution 1920x1080p or larger,
but they do not have the power, and on such a resolution would have to play in a window having the same size, which has a window start on your desktop enjoy :D

It's probably private stuff, but to leave a project right before the moment your expertise will be needed most of all, seems quite douchebachy. To relate i'm an accountant, and leaving in september, with october being a deadline for several things would leave my office in a lot of trouble.

Not alone that but even if she wouldn't continue with you, it would still be a nice visit card to her for her resume, if she worked one month longer. While now she can't claim anything. I hope you find a replacement soon, and i really hope someone from the community will stand up and take it on them to continue in this crucial period.

Anyways. Happy new year and don't forget 0.13 =)
Mind you, no responsible person would do such a thing. You only read what someone has written, mind that, too.

We can only speculate and you can't really give us much information. There are a ton of reasons as why to change jobs as an employee; or as an employer to change employees or even having to let someone go when you don't have the spare money to keep that position. I hope that you, Betka, are on good terms with the factorio staff and remember your time in this company fondly. I wish you all the best for your future!

If you give free version for youtubers who test game on their channel , I can write to them, in Poland factorio there is little popular.
You could do a separate department on forum for them.

It might be better if you send the emails to us, so we can actually send them email as well as the game.

Maybe could we start a list of all youtubers we know that could make a review of Factorio, like that, it would take off from your shoulders the hassle of making it yourself.
You'd just have, once the list is big enough, to make a double ckeck if you want, and contact them.

By "You" I mean "You at Wube softare" :)

I wanted to propose this but I did not know how will be you reaction.

This is a very good idea, because as someone gets three or more emails begin to think something is wrong,
and the game can be shitty, And that would be the worst thing that could happen.
