Missing Texture

Hello, I am having an issue with a smart inserter texture. Since I've started playing I never had the texture of the smart inserter in my game, so I was assuming the texture was missing and I didn't particularly care. It lookes something like this:

But now because I need to use them for production its is very annoying to manage invisible items and annoying to play with them in general. I can place the inserter just fine and it will have a texture and work perfectly.

I have tried all of these: viewtopic.php?t=9300. I have also tried doing a clean install and also installed a third-party texture pack. None of these worked. I have checked the game files and the smart inserter icon is defiantly in there.

The game works absolutely flawlessly except this little annoying thing all other textures are completely fine. I am playing on a bootcamped 2012 MBP with Retina display. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Try delete this texture maybe you will see something like error

Try to find and delete file named crop-cache.dat.
I'm not sure where it is placed on mac so can't give more details.
