Desync behind same router

Desync behind same router
I am playing with a friend via the version on steam, but when we use the IP for the PC he's on all we get when I log into his game is a synchronization loop. Is this due to a port not properly set up?

If you can upload the game log, the desync report zip, and a save game, the devs can investigate for you.

No, the ports are working fine. The problem you have is most likely caused by one or more mods that are not completely multiplayer-compatible.
Example: you have Misanthrope 0.0.5 installed, the current version is already 0.2.4.
