You forgot to change the version in the config.lua but it's no biggy :)

ex: global.version = "0.4.1"

Not crashing anymore!

ok the mod works in the list again the game launches and loads and also says at bottom reply save cancel or what not mod has map changes but yet its not in my build list.....if mods cant link into a saved game then i give up on em i got 120 hours on this save....so cant link new mods to sav im done

my guess gotta create new game for mods to apply lol which not happening least for while lol i playing it on max map settings pretty hard oh its 155 hours now lol thinking about doing youtube video show off some my systems...some which might even turn some vertrain heads really wish i wasnt playing alone......lol thats hole other issue if im having this much problems gettings mods to work there no way i can figure out how to host or join online with someone lol cause im scrub

I don't see anything wrong with your log. Recipes should show up if you have the proper research.

That script is part of the mod and existed even before this fork. If it is applying itself, then that simply means whichever version he was using before did not have that script. I don't see this as something concerning though as there is no error messages between that log entry and the last entry. Thus the migration script executed without error. His problem is not seeing the recipes for crafting part of the armor if I understood him correctly. This I attributed to him not having the proper research.

That should not happen. Are you using 0.4.2? When did you disable the timer?

I am using 0.4.2, I started the save with no mods and started filling it up as I went (probably not smart) and I added advanced equipment recently. I wanted to disable time buttons because it's interfering with some other mod and It became glitchy, I just hope it won't happen on a new save.

God damnit, I wanted to play with my friend and I got this error
I read a bit through it and it seems that it's the same error that crashed the server, but i'm no programmer. Disabling TimeButtons solved it.

Did you read the previous post regarding how to properly disable the timer?
You don't need to comment anything just issue
/c remote.call("AdvEq","show_timer")
to disable
/c remote.call("AdvEq","show_timer",1)
to reenable
I've had no issues with or without the timer enabled on my own multiplayer server. The error that you had is due to the script updating a GUI element, the timer, without there being such an element. What did you do to get that error?

Also, your log has nothing remarkable other than that you are indeed using 0.4.2.

The problem is that it won't let me turn it off (http://imgur.com/5ZDW3PW)
I'll just play without time buttons and when I want to go to this save again I can turn it back on

No, the problem is not in turning it off, but rather in turning it on after having turned it off. Anyways, I've fixed the problem.

-Fixed toggling of timer, again...
-Unified remote calls: show_animation, show_life, show_timer. Issue them as

Code: Select all

/c remote.call("AdvEq","<cmd>")
Ex:
/c remote.call("AdvEq","show_timer")
to toggle showing healing animation, timer, or life.

I just realized the timer that's showing on my screen is from TimeButtons, the one from adv.equipment is already toggled off. On a new save I can turn it on and off but on the old one it gives me the same error. I think it is because of time buttons and you can't do anything to fix it. I'm new to the game and no idea of lua programming but this is what I understand
UPDATE: HOLD THE PHONES M80, I was wrong, on the other save the time is showing 2 time and i have no idea why. On the better news I could join the more recent save which I play on with my friend without time buttons. The old save is still rip though

Yes, your recent screenshot had nothing to do with AdvancedEquipment, but your previous screenshot does.

The bug from that screenshot was what I tried to reproduce and have been fixed. As for TimeButtons, I don't keep up with that one so I don't know. ;)

I don't know why you see two timers. Maybe one was from TimeButtons. There is also the issue with identical username that can mess things up but that is very small edge case that will go away, hopefully, in 0.13

That is the error that still comes up when i try entering the old save without time buttons with the 4.3 version. I give up this is too confusing :lol:
I opened a save that was 5 hours before the most recent and it works. I have no idea what changed in those 5 hours besides putting concrete in my base but at least it works.

Unless the error states that it was a script from AdvancedEquipment, then I don't know how to help you. You need to clearly present what you see with 0.4.3 with a screenshot. Providing a complete save+mods is also useful. I can't help you if you don't know how to help me help you.

In my opinion it's not worth the headache. At least my earlier save works and now I should be able to play multiplayer.
If you asked about the actual mod downloads they should be all on my dropbox, I upload them there so my friend doesn't have to search all over the interwebs for them.
