As per above suggestions I've added a gas vent, and a fuelled incinerator for disposing of items and non-flammable liquids (such as sulfuric acid). I hope you don't mind, AlNeaera, but I've adapted the gas venting sprite from your link.

Great I'll try these burner out, many thanks !

And no, I don't mind at all (on the contrary, glad it served some kind of purpose), and also because I adapted the gas sprite from your flame sprite (so it came full circle :)).

Excellent, now I can start flaring off the ≈140,000 units of hydrogen I have sitting in my storage tanks! :twisted:

Venting air into the air costs energy and produces a lot of pollution! :D

Unfortunately pollution is defined per-building and not per-recipe, so I have to have the same pollution value for nitrogen as for sulfur dioxide.

And the power requirement is almost nothing - 1 kW. It's there because it has to be greater than zero.

Added an electric version the incinerator, will have to improve the smoke sprite at some point.

An idea I had for getting rid of nonflammable fluids instead of incinerating them was dumping them. I don't know if it would be feasible to make a building that required to be next to the water but if so something like this sewage drain pipe from City Skylines would be fitting for the theme of Factorio

I would want this last suggestion... would make getting rid of the water after drying dirt, easier...

...unless you want to make a flare stack that separates the water into hydrogen and oxygen, and flares off those gasses. :)

perhaps a flare stack for water, that instead of emitting flame, emits steam... could make it boil off water very slow too, since the volume conversion from fluid to steam is large.

I you really want to, you can already run water through the incinerator.

A steam engine would make better use of it though.

ther's already a mod that allow to dump liquids in the watter (and bitters really don't like it !)
It's called offshore dump IIRC (viewtopic.php?f=87&t=6826&p=137155#p137155)

Great mod! I've been looking for something like this.

Can anyone tell me which value to change to increase the amount of fluid that is consumed per operation? Can't seem to get it higher.
I'm using a higher tier Refinery that produces to much "by-product" for the Flare stack... :roll:

Have a look in data-final-fixes.lua

Energy is how long each batch takes to process, amount is how much fluid is destroyed in each batch.
