Anyway to increase the 10 posts per page display?

I can only see 10 posts per page in a thread. Is there a way to increase it? If there is i'm blind and can't find it.

It's an admin only setting, and applies to the entire forum. We should vote on the best number.

Increasing this count will also increase the server load when people go through the forums.
We shouldn't go higher than 25 PpP as I don't know the server the forums run on.

On other forums I've found 15 works well.

I can change this, but I won't until someone can say me, if that dramatically changes the server load.

Sorry for being such a chicken - I wouldn't do so, if it was my server.

It should not change server load much. This forum has very small threads, simply text with all the big files hosted offsite or requiring a click to download.

The forums that have trouble with increased posts per page, are the ones with attached (forum hosted) images in every post .

I suppose it doesn't hurt to see more pages... this is 2016 after all...

I will look at maybe increasing it to 20, depending on what the server statistic shows for the last couple months

I'm curious about why this is a server setting, rather than a user configurable setting. On most forums I've been on, that's how it's worked.

As already mentioned: This is resource-intensive.
On the other hand I'm nearly sure there is a phpbb-plugin that enables it.
