Do i need an extra key to host an server and also play in it?

Im planning to host a linux server with the headless server config.

But i asso want to play on my server

You can use same key to host and play at the same time.

I dont have a key. because i bought it on steam.

When i checked my account i dont have access to a key on the factorio website.

If you have a token in player-data.json, you can use that as well.
