[0.4.0] Dutch translation
Re: [0.4.0] Dutch translation
I noticed someone removed all the item-names with a '2' behind them. They are used in Dutch because some words lose a letter when they become plural 'plaat' -> 'platen'. In English this doesn't happen, so that's why they're available in Dutch but not in English. So what we did is:
stone-brick=Baksteen
stone-brick2=Bakstenen
This way we have access to the singular and plural form of the word without any trouble.
I don't have time now to put them all back, but if someone could do that in the next pull request, that would really help.

Re: [0.4.0] Dutch translation
Yeah, that was my brilliant intervention, sorry
I did a compare with the english version and thought these were strings that were removed from the game.
I'll do a complete check-over this weekend and put them back in

Re: [0.4.0] Dutch translation
Ok, great, your translations were very good, so I look forward to your new translations this weekend.
Re: [0.4.0] Dutch translation
Thanks, I updated the translations for 0.10.5

Hi all,
New here, but have owned Factorio for a while and recently came back to it after seeing some youtubers play it again.
Anyway, I'm a professional translator, and I might want to contribute to the project. I will have to see how much I can or want to do after translating all day for work though. I had a quick look at the files already and the main thing I noticed is that 'ingrediënt' is used. I believe that is only used for food recipes, so it is a bit odd. 'Component' would be better, I guess.

Hi, that would be great if you helped with the translations. But just one thing to be sure: We have moved to crowdin, so there is not much point in editing the translation files directly.
Re: [0.4.0] Dutch translation
Nice. Added some translations. The translations with the highest count gets automatically in the game?
I have the cape.
I make the fucking whoosh noises.

Re: [0.4.0] Dutch translation
What do you mean by highest count? If votes, then yes, the translation with highest number of votes is used. If you mean number of translated strings in a language, then no, we actually use all of them, even though some don't work that well.

Thanks, I meant votecount .

Re: [0.4.0] Dutch translation
Why does it say this on the site:
Translated, but Needs to be Voted:
Dutch
approved: 0%
I'm quite sure there are more than zero votes on the translations

Re: [0.4.0] Dutch translation
The aproved translations is something else than translations with votes. It means that the translation is in some way fixed and officially correct. We don't use these.
Re: [0.4.0] Dutch translation
I have added a few translations. For behemot I would use gigantic. Can't come up with anything else sounding logical. And for medium I would use middelgroot. And I think I should not discuss translations here? Or can we? Or should we do it on that page?
