LineSorter is a different mod not produced by myself which used my old code. If you have both mods this might cause conflicts. I suggest you deinstall LineSorter and install the brandnew Beltsorter 0.3.4

I just released an update for it Thanks for the report.
The issue was the copy settings has two methods (one for normal, one for advanced belt-sorter). Which is called depends on the source entity, so since the advanced belt-sorter has been added this caused some issues.
Now the issue should be fixed. I will also request a better modding api for copy settings between entitites, currently it's a bit a hastle to get it right.

Every time something is searched for in the filter, or even loading the filter options the server causes everyone to lag and the game freezes for a second. Why not use the same pre-loaded filter view normal filter stuff uses?

Something I have noticed that currently happens on the advanced Sorter, is that if you select an item, it pre-ticks both left and right boxes instantly, so if you are already feeding the belt, it starts outputting items, and if the intent was to only send it on one side, you then need to pick it all up. The only way I can stop that is to keep the incoming belt disconnected while I'm setting the sorter.
I thought that "pre-ticking" left/right would make it stop, but then it ticks both boxes again when selecting. Unless I'm missing something, that seems counter-intuitive. Selecting an item should not automatically start the sorting, the belt should only start feeding in after the player has made an actual selection by ticking one or more belt sides manually, I think. I hope I'm explaining it correctly.
PS: It works so darn well, I feel like I'm cheating massively. I'm in the process of setting up a private scenario for me and a few friends and I think I will have to change it to be either far more expensive to make or up the tech so it's more middle-late game, otherwise they will just instantly skip the spaghetti cross-over belt stage and just build Belt Sorters

I really liked your mod, but I was disappointed by the lack of Russian localization. So I wanted to ask: If I make Russian localization and send it to you, will you include it in the next version (or current) mod?

Just a quick message for everyone who may be having an issue opening the GUI or selecting items on any sorter as shown in the attachment; you may have to take the mod out of your game, load the save, save the game and then re-add the mod.
Not sure why but this fixed the issue for me; I guess there's remnants of old settings from 0.14.x on my save. Bit annoying to have to re-add all sorters again but at least its working.

I just came across this issue as well. Apparently the list of recebt items might still contain some mod items after you have removed that mod. When you open then the gui again apparebtly those items can't be displayed and you get an error.
So if you want to remove a mod, make sure all players have just vanilla items in the recent items list. Or wait for the next version (eta in the next few days)

- basic belt sorter only allows setting 2 filter slots, average 3, advanced 4.
- advanced beltSorter allows setting custom priorities for input+output sides
- improved technology prerequisites, less requirements to get started
- hd images for all 3 tiers

- you will be warned for basic beltSorters which had more than 2 filter slots configured since those filters will get removed and might break your factory

- use native item selection dialog (much faster on multiplayer)
- refactored control logic of beltSorters, all beltSorters use now the same distribution logic
