Endgame belt prod3/speed3 Green Circuit build

Post by quinor »

I have found the basic idea of the design somewhere and then refined it. Fills 2 belts without gaps. Chests are added due to not big enough buffer in the speeded up machines and long pickup times of stack inserters.

Just out of curiosity, I see that you suggest an output of 2 blue belts of circuits. Is that on an input of 2 blue belts of iron and 2 blue belts of copper? I know that without modules, you need 3 belts of copper and 2 belts of iron. I was wondering if the addition of modules reduces the copper needed?

Thanks,

With prod3+speed3 modules and beacons, the ratio is close to 1:1 indeed.

With Prod3 modules you need near 1.5 belt of both iron and copper to make 2 belts or greens

Here's my attempt at this. It's 34.3 circuits/second so only about 85% of a belt but it only takes 65% of iron and copper belts as well.
