Each mining level increases by 2% base mining productivity (it's not exponential but linear). So you need to produce 50x the cost before you get a return on the investment.
As the current level requires 56600 of each pack, they would have to produce 2'830'000 packs so that that level has paid for itself.

You're doing all ... really fast, wow. I took a look at your video and it looks shockingly tidy. Although you didn't show us your oil and outpost setups, I'm guessing that's where you're hiding the bodies? Anyhow, damn, dude, kinda makes me feel like I'm terrible at factorio to be honest... but feel free to feel good about that, I think you probably earned it

I build a fourth research/rocket base.
Now 1800 science packs of each color per minute.
249.000 solar modules and 214.000 accumulators = 15 GW production = 1 TJ accumulators energy

Update:
The factory reached +50000 satellites and +1000 mining productivity last monday.
