Well..seems like it's not working on 0.16 actually, and I already edited the info.json file (and not only) for the 0.16 version compatibility... but no dice!
There are many compatibility issues in the mod itself (e.g. when you start a new game a message with "...First argument must be a number or a table..." appears...)
I'm not into modding...so i can't figure out what to change, sorry.
An help would be very appreciated!
PS: sorry for my english (if there is any mistake)...it's not my native language

It would be nice to have remote for another mods.

So... got the official version updated now too, with slightly reworked settings GUI handling. The mod portal won't let me upload anything at the moment though, it's just returning "Error: name 'newfilename' is not defined (code: 500)" which kinda sounds like an internal server error. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here (the release script was still working fine the last time I had been using it though, so it shouldn't be producing invalid files) or the site is just broken again. Will try again tomorrow...

I missed this mod in 0.16, thanks for updating it. Look forward to going back to having belts planned for me, doing it manually is annoying.

So, I may be blind or overlooking something, but how do I start using this mod? The instructions say to place the Belt planner, which I assume is the yellow "Automatic Belt Planner" item shown in the screenshots. But how do I get that item? I don't see it in my crafting menu, there's no UI button anywhere and nothing showing up in the controls menu *confused*
The mod is definitely active in my mods panel, but strangely it doesn't show up in the list of mods for a savegame when I save my game with it active either.
EDIT: Nevermind, I'm an idiot I have to research it first^^

As an improvement, I would love to have the belt planner item return to the character's hand after ghosts have been placed. Then I could create multiple sections without returning to the tool bar or inventory.

I'm on the latest experimental and have this mod installed but I don't see any options in the mod menu, any GUI element, or any hotkey bindings in the option menu. It looks like it just didn't appear at all but I didn't get any error message. I also don't see the belt planner item you mentioned in the description. Is there a default hotkey for this, or is this a bug?

Works for me, though it doesn't seem to know about Bob's belts. It's on the production tab, next to the repair packs. Did you remember to do the research?

I patched this, since the setting gui didn't close anymore in 0.18.x . I also added variable underground lenght for the vanilla belts, you have to choose the belt type in settings beforehand now. I wanted to fix the issue where the pathfinder put undergoundbelt in places where other belts are, but thats a bit to advanced for me at the moment.
Edit:
I wacked the mod with a magic stick and it avoids previously placed belts of the same speed now. I added a changelog as well.

Wacked it some more, it should work with mods that changes default undergound lenght for vanilla belts and pipes now.
