Hi

Say i started playing your mod today, i stumbled upon a strange thing.
Did you intend to make steel in an assembler instead of a furnace ?
the recipe is 9 iron,1 coal, 3 sec and output 5 steel, in an assembling machine. modpack is Dp77s FactorioPlus: Advanced Tech and Alloys

Yes, for now, you can make it in that method, but i'll change it in the future (ex. adding a particular alloys smelting to the normal furnaces :D)

It doesn't seem like there's any way to obtain Badassium, which is required in some of the recipies. Am I missing something?

HI,

I found a bug with the Burner Miner Drill Mk. 2
It seems that if you put one down and try to pick it up again, it becomes a Burner Miner Mk. 1 again.
Mk 3. works fine though

I just finished my 3rd stream with this modpack, i really have to congratulate you, so far it is really interesting and today i started to realize how much i need to fiddle around with these new materials to get things done.
One thing tho i will do is that i install a warehouse mod because the vanilla chests are just too painful to deal with the mixed belts specially the randomite, i really need a usefull buffer for these things. but other than that i really enjoy playing it so far.

I found a possible bug - please correct me if I'm being stupid, but: High tech science packs require "processing unit v1" (blue chips) to make, but the tech that unlocks them requires high tech science packs, so it creates a deadlock in the tech tree.

Also I too have noticed the issue above where picking up burner Mk2 drills turn them into burner Mk1's. Not too big of a deal since they're relatively cheap, but takes some time to recraft.

Oh I had not noticed the research that lets you create science packs from the ores! That solves the problem.

Ahah, i understand you, because when you have to manage a lot of things it can happen (i've never thought that my mods could be so intricated :D ).

For eFieX thank you for the support ;) , for the storage i'll make something related with it in Dp77's FactorioPlus: Storage, because you're right: vanilla's chests are too small for my mods. :shock:

In these days i'm not updating my mods because i'm working on a new texture for quarry mk3 and 4, but i've some problems with animation...

Thanks for your mods, they are in the same vein as Angel and Bob, and i like it very much. The only shadow in this great picture is that infinite research does not require any of your sweet pots and thus only a portion (1/20) of my factory is working. I do not know anything about the possibility of modifying those, but it would be awesome.

However: there's a piece of news!

I've splitted FactorioPlus: Machines from Mining, because the mod folder has become too big for upload it on the modpage...so i've been constricted to separate them. :x

The new mods can be found on my mod page or on the mods' list on the bottom of all my pages; :arrow:

_Bob revamp.

I've revised my mods queue: i will stop for a moment for release an important addon for them> FactorioPlus: Character Enhancement (Crafting speed, tools, movement speed, quickbars and more).


I hope you'll enjoy this addon.

P.S: Bob mods are completely compatible with my mods: when you run simultaneously both, they don't crash (if you've some recipe ideas for a better integration, tell me ;) ).

Hi

Say is it possible that the mod "what is it really used for" is not working correct with your pack ?
i cannot find any use for quarz or silicon or is there none at the moment ?

when i update to the newest build i get an error when i load my savegames.

eF eX you've not updated all your mods, this is why there's an error in the migrations.
The mods that aren't updated are:

I'm happy that you're using my other mods too, but be carefull because those mods aren't projected for be compatible with my FactorioPlus ones. :!:
However i'll update them soon for a better integration: i could create an addon or upload them in a FactorioPlus mod: ;)
(ex. Better armor grid and its related mods will be uploaded in FactorioPlus: Military );

Thank you for the streams and the videos that you've made with my mods: i hope that you'll resolve your problem soon. :)

For the diamond, silicon and quartz: they'll have an usage in the future.
I'll use Quartz and Diamond for the modules, something like Bob modules, and the silicon will be used like an insulator for make the buildings in FactorioPlus: Power.

Ah, there will be an another usage for Quartz and Diamond for make particular artifacts called "singularities" in FactorioPlus: Future Expansion...but for now it's all a secret ;)

The Omega's Amethist, if you're trying to answer at the question: "what will be its usage?", i tell you that in FactorioPlus: Omega Expansion it will be used for Modules, Artifacts...and for "enrich" every crafting you want, with new machines, tech threes... :arrow:

I've now updated FactorioPlus: Hyper Logistic, adding 3 new inserters and 3 new filter version of them, for a better gameplay with my logistics.

Now i'll starting working on FactorioPlus: Power…
