[0.17.4] Crash on startup at 40% - Cropping Bitmaps

I have downloaded version 0.17.4 on my MacBook Pro. The game crashes during the load screen. Screenshots and log file are attached. Current OS is Sierra, 10.12.6. The game runs normally on my iMac running Mojave, 10.14.3. I will be updating the OS on my laptop this evening to see if it resolves the issue.

Steps to reproduce:
The crash happens during each launch. I am launching the application form within Steam.

Specifics of the crash:
The loading screen launches and crashes out at 40%.
The message about my log file shows up as seen in the screenshot. Clicking 'Yes' takes me to the log file folder. Clicking 'No' has no effect. In both cases, the application is locked up until I do a force quit.

Model: MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)
RAM: 8 GB
Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB
Color: Silver

Upgrading to Mojave, MacOS 10.14, seems to have solved the problem. The program opens normally at this point.
