Could not start game

When I attempt to start Factorio I receive an error message saying there was an error configuring paths and that there is no package core (see attachment). Does anybody know how to fix this?

You have to extract Factorio.v0.16.51.zip to a folder, it is not possible to run the executable from inside of zipped package.
