This is on a mac powerbook running 10.14.1 Mojave. It works fine on my Windows PC.Update failed: Applying update packages failed: Updating file __PATH__read-data__/changelog.txt failed: filesystem error: remove "/private/var/folders/16/r12n2v_j5s1fx7m73q4vz_9m0000gn/T/AppTranslocation/3154BFB6-9A58-4CC3-8356-6FAFE94998AA/d/factorio.app/Contents/data/changelog.txt" failed: Permission denied
It's probably worth noting that I had also been unable to install either 0.17 or 0.16 via the manual download and install. (Through a rather embarrassing comedy of errors trying to get 0.17 I deleted my 0.16 install before realizing all I had to do was check the right box and my current installation would have handled it for me.) I kept getting a similar error message while trying to copy the factorio.app from the disk image (dmg) to the Applications folder—the error message then was a Finder error -36, also a permissions issue, so I'm guessing they are related. I was able to get around the install issue by coping it over via Terminal and everything seemed to be working fine. Thinking this issue was related, I tried chmod to update permissions, and got an error saying it couldn't do so because it was a system file. I was able to update permissions of the changelog.txt file located in /Applications/factorio.app/Contents/data (which changes the reported permissions in the /private folder), but that has not resolved the issue.
