Item's dropped on ground always show the first variation

As the description says. When you drop an item on the ground (in this case, one of the ores with the new multiple icon variations for belt use) the first variation is always shown, not a random one.
And yes, it is the first variation, not in-inventory icon(they're defined differently), I found the issue when testing something, screenshot:
