Any settings to reduce battery usage on a laptop?

I'm playing factorio on a laptop which runs very hot, and when on battery it runs out really fast.

Browsing the web for comparison gives me at least 5 times more battery time than playing this game.

Are there any settings in the game I can change to improve battery life while playing? I imagine lower resolution would cause the cpu to work less, for example, but not sure what would have the best effect or if it really makes a difference.

Put the power cord into an outlet will help immensely.

If you have a dedicated graphics card and an integrated one in your laptop, using the integrated one could save power. Power consumption when playing the game will never come close to just using a web browser.
