Re: Version 1.1.19
I'm a bit sad that 1.1.19 was marked stable when the last bit of the translations wasn't included. This means that a few of the tips and tricks text are not translated in the stable version (and that the languages has a "99%" mark in the language selection menu).
Currently primary Danish translator of Factorio. Feel free to contact me in regards to the translations.

Re: Version 1.1.19
After a recent autosave crash I got these errors on startup, not sure if it's related
"Failed to load the player data file. Campaign progress might be lost."
"Failed to load local achievement data. Local achievements might be lost."
I've disabled autosave for now. Hopefully that will at least alleviate some of the pain.
Tips on how to debug problem appreciated. Computer completely becomes unusable after crash, have to power cycle. Crazy.

F and G by default
If you don’t know a key bind, you can search for it in settings > controls. There is a search button Olin the upper right of most menus.

Re: Version 1.1.19
I figured it out myself.
Thank you anyway !

Re: Version 1.1.19
That sounds like hardware failure with your PC, not a problem with the game. Since it happened during a save and your PC hard locked, I'd suspect a drive that's failing. Nothing the game does should require power cycling.blazespinnaker wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 11:14 am After a recent autosave crash I got these errors on startup, not sure if it's related

Release threads aren't the place for this though. Try posting in the Technical Help forums that's for this kind of thing.

Re: Version 1.1.19
For the record I'm getting the popup warning about achievements every single time I'm changing versions manually using the Steam client so I don't think that's related to the other issues you're having.

Re: Version 1.1.19
I am missing a feature in this version that I belief had been in 1.0: When marking a rail for deconstruction and then placing the same rail (same orientation, same type of straight or curved) as a ghost again, this would cancel the deconstruction, and the rail would just stay. In 1.1.19, the rail is deconstructed and then placed again. I did not find this change in any changelog. Is this an intend change, or has this feature never existed?

Have a look here
On Linux it might be:
.../steamapps/common/Factorio/achievements.dat
or
~/.local/share/factorio/achievements.dat
depending on your configuration

Re: Version 1.1.19
Thank you for the heads up but it's not a real problem. It only happens the first time I start the game after changing versions manually and since that doesn't happen a lot anymore it's a non-issue. I always figured it was just some leftover from lots of upgrades though the years.

Re: Version 1.1.19
Oh, well, thats okay, for me it happens infinitely, on some versions, on some less often.
