I thought, now that I have a better understanding, I might try to help others out who might still be struggling with these concepts.

Fantastic video. I would highly recommend to any new players. I even see a lot of experienced LP players not fully understanding how to address issues in their factory with compression, density, and speed.

Great video. Everything is spot on.
A lot of seasoned players mess up terms and have trouble distinguishing throughput and speed in they let's plays.
BTW here is the test facility for benchmarking relative throughput (save attached to the first post)

And you are right, 2 splitters win over fast corners (although the difference is very small)
P.S. You get extra point for "Factorio tutorio"
