Re: [Youtube] Multiplayer Playthrough
Ok, root-, you are such a troll, no, YOU ran into oni... (episode 28 ~900)
Re: [Youtube] Multiplayer Playthrough
I maintain Oninaig cannot drive worth a damn and that it was his fault.LordFedora wrote:Ok, root-, you are such a troll, no, YOU ran into oni... (episode 28 ~900)
Episode 28 is up from yesterday
And episode 29 is going to go live very shortly:
Episode 29
Re: [Youtube] Multiplayer Playthrough
On episode 31:
Ouch man that was cold. Though it was the right thing to do xD
Sorry Oni, but that build was so wrong, you need 1.5 cable assemblers per ec assembler. You had 0.33. Your efficiency was going to be abysmal.
Why didn't you copy the previous ec designs? They were perfect and blueprintable..

Re: [Youtube] Multiplayer Playthrough
I felt really bad after i did it...
Re: [Youtube] Multiplayer Playthrough
LMMFAO. I can tell someone in this LP needs a drink
You two are up there with Matt and Pat for the back and forth.
From a Factorio perspective: Experienced and methodical coaching headstrong and naive.
If you two weren't a couple thousand klicks apart, I'd say you were long-term RL friends.
Root, play nice. No automated griefing. (Really. That's just not sportsmanlike. Use your pick )
Oni, yes it would have worked, but, it did suck. The optimal ratio is 3:2, not 1:3. 1:1 is a sub-optimal, but acceptable ratio.
Yours, well, it wasn't worth the resources or space used to build it. And technically, those are infinite.

Did you learn nothing from the Hydra Dilemma?n9103 wrote:Root, play nice. No automated griefing. (Really. That's just not sportsmanlike. Use your pick )
Just as a quick note, Oni and I will be taking a break from the series until after xmas. With my internet issues, we haven't been able to record again. We'll come back in January and finish the playthrough.
Re: [Youtube] Multiplayer Playthrough
It's a good deal worse to tear down someone's work in front of their eyes, than to discover *something* happened to it.
It's most of why "heat of the moment" qualifiers on crimes tend to carry lighter sentences...
Not that I think Oni's looking for a Hard Rice dealer in AUS or anything

Re: [Youtube] Multiplayer Playthrough
yeah, this was why I felt bad after it happened. I could hear Oni's heart breaking as the robots come to whisk away a good 15 minutes of design and construction.n9103 wrote:It's a good deal worse to tear down someone's work in front of their eyes, than to discover *something* happened to it.

Thank you! Thats what I was trying to explain to him!LordFedora wrote:Ok, root-, you are such a troll, no, YOU ran into oni... (episode 28 ~900)
Yeah I realized after he did it that it was for the best. It still stung though lol.Marbles wrote:On episode 31:

I can be pretty stubborn at times but I openly admit that Root is a lot better at the game than me and I stand to learn much from this playthrough as far as efficient designs go. I think that one of the issues I was trying to work around was the spacing issue and trying to force everything to fit in that one little spot rather than move it out to a better location. Now that I know the ratios, I can better layout future designs .n9103 wrote:LMMFAO. I can tell someone in this LP needs a drink

You killed my dreams! XD
Yes, it was horrible and I admit that it was a sucky design looking back now. I'll take it as a learning experience and next time i'll be sure to submit it for a Fixit

Re: [Youtube] Multiplayer Playthrough
Perhaps the awe is wearing off?
Or maybe he's realizing that more prolific and vocal, doesn't directly translate to more skilled?
As for the voice issues, you guys are free to come drop into my TeamSpeak server and use a private channel.
Dunno how it's going to affect your lag, but it's an option if you want it.
