Allow items with a fuel_value to affect the friction of a vehicle.WHAT/WHY?
I think that giving item prototypes a “fuel_friction_multiplier”, that would affect how long it takes a car or tank to slow down when driving could be an interesting mechanic. It’d allow for more nuance while driving (and let players not have to hold down the W key for ages while driving); and give modders more means to create more diverse fuels, i know for a fact that i’d love to give some of my fuels “hands free driving”.It’d also mean that scripting in things like drifting would either be unneeded because it can be pulled off with the API, or a lot less difficult to pull off.
