- It produces 150 science packs per minute of red, green, and space science packs.
- All packs consume 2.49333 iron per 1 copper ore, which is very close to the 2.5:1 ratio from the Advanced metallic asteroid crushing recipe.
- It can operate on Navius, Vulcanus, or Gleba.
- With full science production, it is still able to produce a small amount of ammo, about 10 per minute.
- In case there is an overflow of iron ore (technically it may happen because of the 2.49333:1 ratio), it produces some extra ammo and throws it into space.
- If the ammo on the outer belt is running low, ammo production is increased.
