Just another Kovarex setup

Post by wobbycarly »

So I'm quite happy with my new SA Kovarex setup, made more simple with the new feature to read machine contents.

Feed in U-238 and U-235 on belts from standard uranium processing as marked bottom left. The loading inserters will take any U-238 required, but only activate if U-235 in the machine is less than 40. (Setting stack size to 10 would help prevent any overloading.)

What I'm quite pleased with is the U-238 return and priority system. The fuel cell reprocessing output is prioritised first - this can easily be expanded if required based on how many reactors are functioning.

Any U-238 expelled from the centrifuges is kept separate from the U-235 and given return priority on the inner belt section to feed back to the balancer/splitter arrangement, where it is prioritised to be fed back to the loop. The belt from uranium processing only tops up the belt and there is plenty of belt buffer to balance out any potential overproduction of U-238.

Add modules/beacons to taste.
