When selecting the parameters for parameterized blueprints, the game will sometimes allow the player to place another blueprint while they should be selecting parameters to set for the first one. Upon doing this, when attempting to select the next parameter to set, the game may crash (or it may give bizarre UI prompts, like prompting for construction or logistics bot instead of the correct filter).
From my testing:
-This can only happen in Map/Remote View
-This requires a blueprint with at least 2 parameters, as the bug is in the parameter selection screen that allows you to select with parameter to set. If you only have one parameter, selecting anything outside of the windows to set the parameter just cancels the blueprint placement.
-If you close the original parameter selection window (backing out of construction), the game will continue to function as normal.
-If you complete the new parameter selection windows (finalizing the second placement of the blueprint), the original will simply not apply any parameter selection, but will not crash.
-I was not able to find a replication for the Construction/Logistics bots error, as it only happened twice, while I was still confused as to what was going on. Both times were on a space platform, so no roboports. If it is suspected that the logs from that might be useful, I can post the other 10 testing crashes, but I can't recall if I ever crashed while or after that happened.
Replication steps:
1) Create a blueprint with 2 parameterized elements, that contains more than one building.
2) Attempt to partially build (default: hold shift) the blueprint while over obstructing buildings.
3) Move the parameter selection window off to the side (Not required, but makes it easier to tell when you've done the next part).
4) Spam click (repeatedly attempt to place the blueprint) on valid building locations for the blueprint until another parameter selection window pops up (I suspect it letting you do this is another bug, but this is a report about the crash).
5) Close the second parameter selection window (via esc, the x, etc).
6) Attempt to set any parameter.
7) This will either cause a crash instantly (before bringing up the item selection menu), or after finalizing the parameter selection (once an item is double clicked or the check mark is selected).
What did you do: Originally misclicked while attempting to paste a asteroid crushing setup on a platform. Refined reproduction steps for the bug are above.
What happened?: The game crashed
What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!: I expect the game to prevent extra placement requests for a blueprint while in the menu to finalize a blueprint placement, and to not crash when placing blueprints even if I misclick.
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes? Always, when following the above reproduction steps.
Update: I've been able to replicate this in not map mode, using the steps above, but performed in regular view.

Re: [Kovarex] [2.0.43] Crash placing parameterized blueprints partially obstructed
Hello, this was now fixed in the version 2.0.45:
