Artillery Remote no longer allowing mass-fire since update

Don't know how to use a machine? Looking for efficient setups? Stuck in a mission?

Artillery Remote no longer allowing mass-fire since update

Post by superstrijder15 »

I'm not the fastest player so I only unlocked artillery recently on my space age save. Pre 2.0 I had moving the map with the mouse unbound so I could instead click and drag the artillery remote for lots of shots on a group of biter spawners. I noticed that this doesn't work anymore: When holding right click and dragging I only get one shot, onto the position I shot in. Does anyone know a way around this? Is this intended behaviour and the old thing essentially a bug?

I see this too.
(EDIT : even if several turrets are in range)

I wonder if a solution could be to allow to blueprint these reticles (think landmine blueprints).

Might need an 'one time only' opt-out option though, so that artillery only fires once...

I'm also in need of this feature. Used it a lot in v1

[2.0.55] Artillery Remote no longer allowing mass-fire since update 2.0

I would like this option to be back. Preferably as a extra key bind (like shift + default) or a toggle.

You can rebind shift mouse wheel to "use object" and then use the mouse wheel to fire multiple shot, but really you shouldn't need any manual targetting, just research artillery range ! x)
