Selection tool stuck in the inventory

I have a selection tool stuck in my inventory that I can't remove.
Could anyone knowledgeable please help me figure out how to get rid of it?

That is a filter set on the inventory slot. Just move cursor over that slot and press middle mouse button to get rid of that inventory filter.
