As name suggest. Just like how we have the spider remote, for this one, we can create teritory. Insite this teritory, the demolisher vehicle will remove everything, trees, cliffs, rocks, enemy buildings.
Issues: fuel. I am thinking of using end game, if not post game stuff. Meaning that exactly because it's so OP for it to be like a "reward" for clearing the game. Aka prometeus as material = you pretty muched finished the game. You are at a stage where you can easily use the arterery and bots to clear out everything = this might be OP on it's own, but it's actually NOT op by the time you unlock it since the bots and arterery are way faster. Meaning the only real advantage this will have is that it will have an auto function to clear the area you chose VS you giving bots manual instruction + need to place roboport + rails and defence (since the demolisher is pretty much to stronger then any other enemy so no further elements needed).
Not more then 1, aka no teritory overlapse, including in Vulcanus = no demolisher vs demolisher. So yeah, it's op on it's own, but, it's slow, limited to fuel, and you need to have finised the game before even be able to unlock it, let alone research and craft it.
Other issue: are your own buildings safe (I'm not talking about the automised vehicle demolisher targeting your own buildings but if they are safe like how spidertron works or if they are at risk of destruction like how tanks works). Personally i thing it should work just like how the tank works since otherwise it loses some of it's "charm"..... ok but what about concrete?
Questionable situation: should the demolisher act as a landfill? Except Aquilo, and mod planets that are similar (aka if you use real life logic, the vehicle would sink and bye bye), if it crosses oil ocean, lava, water, should it also put landfill? Personal solution: exactly because it's a vehicle, it should have an inventory. If in inventory landfill (or whatever) exist = it place until it runs out. After all, it's a automised vehicle and not the real thing.
Please note: in all of this i assume it's the big/large one we get. This is for several reasons. 1st of all, the small ones? should we make them faster because they are small? well why not just use the bots since they are way faster. Ah yes, this vehicle is only for areas where you won't use the bots = you will not be in a rush + has enemies = there is no need for a speedy demolisher OR one that dies due to enemies, exactly because you are Post game, meaning none of the enemies are even a danger for you. Secondly: it's really ridiculous to say that the demolisher vehicle needs to be weak exactly because we can easily add spidertrons to follow it killing anything amd everything around them = yes, there is really no need to make a weak demolisher. Area of Effect = larger entety covers more land = exactly why we would use it, becuase the wait is not hours long. You wait, sure, but it does affect a large radius = it's competition can be compared with the bot clear up (since they also waste time to clear land, deposit stuff, get landfill and cliff explosives, and of course, time needed to auto build roboports and such).
Bonus ideea: concrete won't get destroyed by demolisher vehicle = can be used to place concrete (if possible, like aquilo, there is ice, so only concrete is needed). This means insted of having hundrens of bots, flying all around everywhere, we only need the demolisher vehicle go around, and the logistic bots will top it up if it's close enough.
Extra bonuses: radar function. The area that is marked as a teritory, will be visible 100% (did I meantion this is unlocked AFTER you beat the game so even if it's OP on it's own, it's not OP by the time you can use it?). Meaning you have full control of how to build that area (I'm talking about landfill, cliff, trees, and concrete, no actual buildings, belts, pipes, or whatever). Like while you wait for the demolisher to clear out the area, because you can see the area, but no roboport, you can create blueprints and ajustments to it. So, by the time the vehicle demolisher is finished, you can add a roboport, and the bots will start building and automising everything.
BTW, what if the body has solar panels and insite it's tons of batteries? Aka each part of the demolisher has it's own grid. So the longer the demolisher is, the more grid space there is (aka similar to a train). But I guess this will be a mod thing?... or i guess the whole thing since almost a year passed and there was no new stuff aded to this dlc, like fridge, quality that's not behind gambling, something at the shattered planet, and of course, behemoth version of some of the enemies and even more of course, quality for enemies, because mods that add quality to enemies exist and it's a new experience (use map editor to summon a legendary demolisher, good luck against it)
