[2.0.66] Black bar in rocket cargo pod when engineer is inside

In space age when I (the engineer) ride a rocket to a space platform a black bar apears somewhat inside of the cargo pod as it is ascending. The black bar is initially fully obscured behind the cargo pod but pokes through as the rocket ascends. The black bar remains fixed in place relative to the surface while the cargo pod passes through. Finally the black bar disapears behind the bulk of the ascending rocket as it leaves the silo. The black bar does not apear on a rocket carrying items to a space platform and I would expect the black bar to not apear at all, regardless of the pods cargo.

Black bar is behind the top of the cargo pod.

I made sure my graphics drivers were up to date, set force-opengl=true, and looked through the rest of the suggestions in "Solving common graphics issues". I'm using a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER on windows 10 if that matters. I'm sorry if this is just a me issue, regardless thanks for reading.
