Add spoilage priority to loaders

The vanilla loaders (which are used as a basis by some mods) do not have a setting to prioritize most or least spoiled items like inserters do.
Would it be possible to add this option?

Once threads are merged, only links to the oldest one (or specific posts) will work. It appears that there was a thread of one post on December 4 merged into a thread of one post from December 1.

Is there any update here? There doesn't appear to be a topic introducing it and the one linked topic doesn't exist. Searching for "spoil(age|ed) loader" returns nothing that looks to be suggesting adding spoiled first priority to loaders. Should I open a new one?
