Aquilo And Fulgora redone because nothing is there

We have 2 exclusive resources, one that is infinite and one that is finite. The only reason to even bother exploring the planet is you run out of the finite one, since otherwise, there is tons of space, traver via train makes the need for pipes trivial.

So essentially there is really nothing on that planet except thoes 2 resources.

The suggestion is a very simple one: make the planet small, very very very small.

Why?

If the finite is also infinite = no need to explore = no need to explore = no need to expand... and actually did someone ever run out of lithium unless they used mods or played a save for months? Yep, ideea is that that resource that is finite might as well be infinite.

And i think many figured out what i try to say: there are only a few veins. All infinite so there is no "runned out". And the veins are spreed around the planet. So we need to expand. Because the more we expand the more veins we can access = we need to build on Aquilo.

And then comes the limited space, that will make use actually really really think how to construct on Aquilo IF you actually want to play post game (since i can't see it affecting anyone who plays casual, after all, I already asked, if you play casually, did you ever even run out of the finite resource?)

Breaking it down: The changes won't affect casual players who just want to finish the game and don't care about post game

What I suggest is for people who play post game = Aquilo is easy for them

The finite to infinite = we will never run out of resource

The limited space = we need to plan how to build since for post game we need to maximise space use and can't just place everything how we want

The veins are spreed, aka none next to each other, none = we need to expand, use trains and more.


Soft cap: even if we 100 speed beacon and so on every last vein, we might need more.... = the mining productivite infinite research needs to be further leveled up.

Currently i don't see how my ideea breaks anything exactly because the whole planet is empty, only 3 resources that, after setteling and all, are easy to mine.

PS: I said very small because of how big the default is. But, if you ever played space exploration mod (not space age dlc), you will know how a finite map can be large, very large, yet has a clear border (aka starting planet).

And as i wanted to finish now i realised one more thing: the space limitation can further be "bypassed" if we create a local space ship/platou where we take care of most of the things via asteroid => different type + export and import from other planets. So yeah, even with the limitated space, there are other solution that would actually make Aquilo more of a "ok, i need to figure out" VS "ok i finally set up all the planet excusive, power, and ship import and export, ok, let me forget about this planet".

Btw, i find it funny how what i wrote can more or less happen to Fulgora as well. I mean, it's really just scrap that, even if it's finite, it's so much that we'll never run out... so by making it infinite, everything i wrote for Aquilo would also apply for Fulgora. Especially since we will need to figure out how to do with power, aka the accumulators, via small insland vs limited space to build and so on. Heck, people might end up sending scrap into space, since you can easily get rid of stuff and will save massive amount of space and can freely drop anything fulgora needs.
