[2.0.69] cant launch space platform in the editor

Fairly simple place a rocket silo in the editor, build a rocket, put a space platform starter pack in it, you cant launch it. however you can create a platform through automatic requests

You need to Research the Rocket Silo Technology in order to use that button. Normally this is required to craft the Silo item anyway. Editor mode bypasses have historically been considered “Not a Bug”.

Since you’re in Editor Mode you can just force-create the Platform from the Remote View menu by clicking the + icon which appears next to the Platform name.

Is the game Paused (the default in Editor mode)? Try the “Tick Once” button and close-reopen the Silo GUI.

I think that might have been it, i tried unpausing it before i had the research so i thought i had already tried that. Thanks

For some additional context: Editor mode bypasses were all specifically programmed in as a feature.
