Research alerts are visible to other forces

Hello.

I’m playing a slightly older scenario in multiplayer. In this scenario, each player can create and join their own custom forces. However, whenever a player from another force starts or finishes a research, a notification appears for all forces.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

Notifications from a force shouldn't show up for other forces, unless the scenario itself does it. If you can verify its not the scenario's fault, create a bug report. Research notifications had changes recently so its possible there was an oversight.

After checking, I found that each force was set as a friend of the others.
Is it intended that research notifications are shared between forces that are set as friends?
