[2.0.69] Unable to load save - Unknown decorative ID: 2196

Post by shdwklown »

I was playing fine this morning, finishing up some work on Vulcanus without any issues. I saved, exited and tried coming back a few hours later but now I'm unable to load any of my recent saves for this play through. I receive Corrupt Map. Unknown decorative ID: 2196 when attempting to load the main save, and any of the 3 recent auto saves. I was able to load a pre-launch save for Gleba, but that's about a month old.

The most recent activity on that save before I closed out I had made a few cuts and copies but no new legit blue prints or anything. My sys has been acting up a bit lately, so maybe it is hardware related based on similar threads of this error type? Attaching some screens and the save file and hoping it's not a complete restart. :(

This looks like a memory bit-flip, exactly one bit was set which was not supposed to be.

Fixed save file:

Thank you so much boskid. I really appreciate you fixing my save file.
