[2.0.72] Crash when autosaving

Place for things which are bugs but we have no idea how to solve them. Things related to hardware, libraries, strange setups, etc.

[2.0.72] Crash when autosaving

Post by MeedrowH »

The game crashed when autosaving. It also deleted a blueprint I had made between the last save and the autosave. The game had been working fine for the last 400+ hours, so I have no idea what exactly happened.
The game restarted fine, saving manually also works properly.
The game saved a .tmp file but it is corrupt and cannot be loaded.

Mods used:
Base game 2.0.72
Elevated rails 2.0.72
Quality 2.0.72
Space Age 2.0.72

Sending the log files as per the request of the error message. Also sending the savefile that crashed and the .tmp file.

Thanks for the report however the crash log does not show anything useful about the crash. The only way I’ve seen this crash in the past has been failing hardware (most commonly RAM). Unless you know of a way to reproduce it.
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.

Thank you for the answer. I do not know how to reproduce the problem. It happened while I was away from the computer. Perhaps if I leave it running for 30 minutes again it will happen. I will look into checking hardware as well, thank you for the direction.
Have a great day!
