EDIT: Boskid let me know this first savefile is not helpful, so please check out my 2nd post in this thread for another savefile
9 ticks after loading the savefile (1 tick after what's shown in the image below), the yellow circled inserter in the image will not pickup 4 chemical science packs, even though it should. The red circled ones above and below it, will pickup. All 3 of them receive the exact same signals/control.
I see this behaviour once in a while, and I have no idea why it happens. If I keep the inserter enabled for one extra tick, it will insert... but this shouldn't be needed, tens of thousands of other insertions work like clockwork with the way I am controlling them.
Mods: Flib, editor extensions.

Ok I have another savefile that starts earlier before the issue happens:
This is again regarding the blue/purple science inserter in the middle of the screen
3911 ticks after loading the savefile, it picks up blue science
4166 ticks after loading the savefile (+255 ticks from 3911), it picks up purple science (I noticed during the swing, it gets disabled by the signal/control logic, maybe relevant?)
4432 ticks after loading the savefile (+266 ticks from 4166), it activates from control behaviour, but fails to pickup blue science on the next tick.
(make sure you load the flib/editor extensions - the only thing I'm using is editor extensions' infinity loaders to spawn the science packs - without the loaders, the logic in my combinators will detect the lack of belt backpressure and change the logic over the next 4500 ticks- if you want me to send a savefile without any mods, let me know)
