What did you do?
I tried to set Agricultural Science Packs as a requested item for a Space Platform
What happened?
I could not set Agricultural Science Packs as a requested item due to Filter conflicts with filter in slot 1. However, if I clicked a different Science Pack (or literally any other item), THEN clicked the Agricultural Science Pack, it worked perfectly fine,
What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
I expected to be able to use any item as a filter regardless of repetition or not.
Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
Always.
REPRODUCTION STEPS:
On the attached save, on the platform "Nullspace," add Agricultural Science Packs to the second group. When clicking directly, the icon will be red and will be prevented. When the workaround is applied, the game will allow the filter/request to be selected.
Additional info:
I imagine the stuff with Quality selection and UI shenanigans overall will be overhauled in 2.1. Would be nice.

Re: [2.0.72] Space Platform request filter easily bypassed
Since you mention quality, was your workflow actually something like this?
1. Set normal quality agriscience in one slot.
2. Click a different slot in the same group, then try to set agriscience there. It isn't allowed.
3. Click a different slot, then click a different quality, and then click agriscience, and then you're allowed to set it.
This is how everything works currently: You can't set a slot to the same as another slot in the same group, but it doesn't take into account whether you're setting a different quality unless you click the quality first.

Ah, I see. That is correct, then. I just happened to notice it here first. If so, that's really unclear/unintuitive UI design and the assignment should probably go through regardless.
