1. What did you do?
I placed an artillery turret in range of a lot of biter nests, supplied it with ammunition, and turned on automatic firing
2. What happened?
It destroyed most of them, except for a crescent sliver of nests to the west of its automatic range. after waiting for half an hour, with the artillery still loaded, it is not shooting at those nests.
3. What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
It should fire at all nests in range as indicated by the red range circle in the map
4. Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
It seems like this is the only instance i can find of this happening in my save.

See nauvis, on the north end of the base:
Turret and offending range is highlighted in cyan.
I realize much of the range im talking about isn't revealed yet, but at least a dozen chunks that are revealed still have biter nests in them. As i understand, those chunks should be targetable by artillery.
Note that there is an artillery to the south of the one causing the issue with auto firing turned off. Maybe that has to do with it, but theres still some chunks that are outside the disabled artillery's range that are within the enabled one's range (and generated).

Re: [2.0.72] Artillery not firing in part of automatic range
Not a bug. You have artillery turret at {189, -836} which has "auto targeting" checkbox turned off.
