I just started playing again after not having played for like a year or two, and I feel like they've improved the angles that cars can snap to. When last I played, I had to place the car down on one of the cardinal directions if I wanted to go straight, because as soon as you started to steer onto a different angle, you'd never get aligned on a perfect 90 degree angle again. This was kinda annoying for placing long tracks because you'd start to drift away, instead of perfectly following it in parallel.
Now if I'm driving around and I want to turn onto a line perfectly parallel next to a track, I can do it.
So, thanks to whoever changed that, I appreciate you.

Re: Appreciation for better car snapping
Confirmed this is makes driving on straight "roads" much easier and doesn't interfere with any off grid driving that I've seen.
(Not to mention you can properly drive a car in multiplayer now, an unrelated bonus feature)
Great work for something seemingly so minor

Don't forget the paths they etch all over the map now, which makes driving so much better than before.
