[2.0.75] Leaving trains ignore priority

Post by Coconut135 »

I have 2 "Start" stations, one with priority 10 other one with 30, priority is set by circuits. When 2 same schedule trains parked in both "Start"s try to leave to "End" station they ignore priority, train with smaller ID go first.

Priority influences the stop a train will target, not depart from.

This is True, but only if the Trains are trying to leave on the same Tick. See attached Map-Editor Save where there are 8 Trains on the same Schedule. They will leave "Start" in Priority order from 80 --> 10.

In a real situation it is very difficult to synchronize the Departure Tick, so the "first" train trying to leave is able to Reserve the destination stop. This is exacerbated by the fact that Trains in "No Path or Destination Full" state will enter into a sleeping state for a few ticks.

Good Luck!

I stand corrected, still not a bug though.
