Cannot save game

Hi all

im a LONG way into the game its been saving the entire time perfectly even saved this morning but all of a sudden its decided to crack the wobblies, it seems there is a specific error it doesnt like im wondering if anyone can help me fix this please.

Cannot save map: Possible memory corruption detected; bulk-inserter at {569.500, 1419.500} active state flags does not match the true active state. Active (true) != linked (false)

last auto save was 40 minutes ago, I have had this error before, i reloaded an old game and did the same modifications to my map and im getting it again.

Its not the computer, memory is fine i have plenty of hard drive space, drivers are all up to date etc.

If you know of a way to take a know good save file and get it into this state with reliable reproduction steps please let us know.

Otherwise, I’ve heard this line many times now and every single time the person came back with “oops, I was wrong, it was the computer”.

Please come back with Memtest86+ and Prime95 stress test results. You can find them here:

Run each test until PASS, or overnight.

So I went back to an autosave from earlier in the day started playing again and now its working perfectly again, no idea what caused that. Ill keep you updated if it happens again

Without hardware checked, your report of yet another random crash will not be any meaningful. As the error said - possible memory corruption - not the game's fault.
