Mining drill blueprint bug
Mining drill blueprint bug
I was playing factorio, and I had a blueprint containing mining drills, and noticed that when placing an electric mining drill on a spot without ore, it just doesn't place. However, even when a mining drill wouldn't have been placed due to no ore, it still conflicts with other blueprints, even though nothing would overlap once the blueprint was placed. I think that checking if a blueprint can be placed or not should be based on what will actually be placed, not based on what the blueprint says will be placed.

Re: Mining drill blueprint bug
If you hold shift, it will force placing the blueprint despite conflicts (exactly the behavior you describe wanting).
Edit: Also, and this may just be me, but even if this wasn’t the case, this feels more like a suggestion than an actual “bug”.

That is not a bug.
