What I did:
Got a deconstruction planner in my hand,
went to deconstruct something while holding alt.
Nothing was deconstructed.
What I expected:
The deconstruction planner would work as if no alt key was held.
Reason for expectation:
It's the way it worked in 1.x
I would agree that if there was another key-binding (such as ctrl+alt+click for ping) then that should take priority. Otherwise it should "fall-through" to the less specific key combination.
Additional notes:
If you start drag selecting with a deconstruction planner then press alt, it acts as-if you lifted the mouse button (and selects the currently selected region).
This also applies to the alt key and the upgrade planner. Did not test the shift key because I only just thought of it.
Any help on this would be appreciated. Most of my deconstructions don't register initially because I'm still holding alt + e (my decon planner shortcut) when I start dragging.

Thanks for the report. alt + click is the key combo to open Factoriopedia. If you un-bind that, does it work?
If you want to get ahold of me I'm almost always on Discord.
