[Kovarex] [2.0.43] Shift copy to edit ghost, problem with quality item in parametrized filter

Post by Elyox »

Sometimes, I want to copy a factory and paste a slightly different version (in this case with different belt filters), but I didn't want to create a blueprint.
To do so I use the "shift copy" that will bring up the blueprint creation window, and edit the selection with blueprint parametrisation and set some parameters as values.
Then instead of clicking the "Create blueprint" button, I press "E" to close the window. This leaves me with a ghost with parameters that I can place, and discard by pressing the "A" key without leaving a blueprint in my inventory. This works as expected, as shown below.

Now, when copying from a splitter with a filter on a quality item, the quality is retained after the ghost placement and selection of the new item with a different quality to filter.

I would expect the quality of the original selection to nothing on the copies.

This behavior appeared in a multiplayer save with default settings in 2.0.42 and in sandbox mode in 2.0.43 when trying to reproduce it.

Yes, whenever other than normal quality is used with parametrisation, it is considered that the quality is taken from the blueprin tand not
parametrised. This is to allow blueprints where different qualities are defined by the blueprint and only the core item is selected.
