[2.0.47] MacOS version MMB not clearing hotbar slot

[2.0.47] MacOS version MMB not clearing hotbar slot

I am currently playing on my MacBook since I'm not at home and I noticed that the keybind that allows you to clear the item in your hotbar is not working. I have all my files sync through steam so my settings are the same as on my windows pc and the middle mouse button doesn't clear it.
