[2.0.55] Stack inserter stuck waiting for new items

Not sure when exactly that happened.
Stack inserter got stuck waiting for more items(not sure if it was already spoiled, or spoiled while it was holding it):

That's quite odd that the items are spoiled in its hand - I think that should not have happened as other items are quite fresh there.

The camera for Gleba in the save is already positioned on the stuck inserter.

No mods, no cheats, the game was started with all default setting.

Thanks for the report however I don't see any bug here. The inserter picked up spoilage which was on the belt and is waiting for more before it swings - as it's supposed to do.

The inserter flags show it did not spoil while the inserter was holding it - which means it directly picked up spoilage from the belt. Given it doesn't have any filter - that's perfectly valid for it to do.

It is supposed to wait for items for a reasonable time and then swing back if no more items. It is stuck waiting INDEFINITELY - that has never happened for the previous 450+ hours of the game and happened only with this inserter only once.

The "Stack Inserter" always waits for a full hand stack of items before moving. What you're describing is the "Bulk Inserter"

Oh... I understand now... I am sorry, yeah, that's not a bug. My factory needs a redesign... Lots of them were working in other parts of the factory and I never realized how they work...
