I could've sworn an issue already existed for this, but couldn't find it after multiple attempts at search, and this issue has been in the game for at least a year.
Basic issue, when a Flamethrower Turret has priorities it will try to lock onto targets which it can't actually attack presumably due to the target being a little out of range, this suppresses its ability to attack enemies which are actually in range but are not on its priorities list. THis is especially problematic when spawners, worms and spitters are the priority targets as they may be unwilling or incapable of ever moving within range.
The "Ignore unlisted targets" tickbox is not ticked.
I've never seen this issue occur with flamethrowers which don't have priorities. I've never observed it with different turrets.
I have provided a save which reproduces the issue, it is actively happening as shown in the screenshot.
