[2.0.72] Belt dragging over existing belt curve destroys original section

Post by phytrixx »

OS: Linux, Pop_OS! 22.04
Game version: 2.0.72 Build 84292
Enabled mods: base mod only (no space age mods)

What did you do?
Create a new belt with a curve in it that goes ex. North
create a new belt with no curve that goes underground in the opposite direction ex. south

What happened?
the south facing belt overwrites the north curve and straight section

What did you expect to happen instead? It might be obvious to you, but do it anyway!
The south belt should place the underground below the curved north section

Does it happen always, once, or sometimes?
always

Reproduction:

1) Create several sections of a north facing belt. Add one right turn, followed by one north turn, followed by a single north belt. Then a west turn, and a north turn, and continue on.

2) Create a south facing belt, to the east of the north facing belt (should overlap the 3 belts created in step 1) and drag south. Use the automated underground feature.

Expectation: The south facing belt should have [south belt, underground, north-to-west belt, north belt, north to east belt, underground, south belt]

Reality: The south facing belt overwrites the north, and east-to-north turn belts.
