[2.0.72] How can I limit UPS on my server?

Heyo!

So I am running a Factorio server on my VPS. When I play on the Server, sometimes the UPS go above 60, there are times when they even go beyond 100.
So the question is, how can I limit the UPS on the Server? Since '--max-updates-per-second=60' doesn't seem to be a thing (anymore?) I can't set it that way.
The main problem with UPS over 60 is, that the sync between client and server is messed up, so I will be "rubberbanding" and things like that...

I read somewhere, that the UPS should be automatically limited to 60, but it seems that that's wrong :(

UPS will not exceed 60 unless you increased the server speed with commands, so explain exactly the symptoms and how you came to the idea that the server is running too fast.

Game Speed is and always was set to 1.

The symptoms are rubberbanding, you could also say "teleportation", so the client sometimes (when UPS get above 60) will get "teleportet" to another location (Not far away, but a few tiles).

There's really not much to say about it... I join, I place things, UPS go above 60 (at game-speed = 1), desync happens... That's about it... It's a new save game...

Sounds like the client is falling behind the server. Check if the issue persist when reducing the game speed to 0.8.

Yeah... So...

Because of the way the network-packages get delivered when hosting the server in a containered environment on a VPS the client falls behind sometimes...
I understood it so, that the network-packages (in my case) are not delivered "constantly" but in "pulses", so sometimes the packages get delivered "delayed/too late" for the client-server sync...

So it will be an issue I have to live with somehow... As far as I know now, the only reliable way to fix it is to rent/buy a dedicated server and set up a factorio server without a container-environment.
