Save File not loading invalid bool

I have the error message: “Invalid bool loaded from input file. File has likely been corrupted due to failing hardware.”

The file and all three autosave show this. My last other save is 8 months old ☹

How can I fix this. I tried the 8 month old saved it this save works. Can I find out what to do?

I would not like to give up all that time.

I found in the forums that this could a bit flip or a wring type like int to bool cast. But how can I find out?
